Play the Organ Year 2025

The RSCM is delighted to be supporting Play the Organ Year 2025, an initiative led by the Royal College of Organists.

Play the Organ Year is designed to inspire a year-long effort by the whole organ-playing community, not just to increase the number of people learning to play the organ, but also the number enjoying live and recorded organ music. Head to the RCO’s website to find out more about how you can take part!

The RSCM offers Church Music Skills, a distance-learning programme designed to help practising church musicians to develop the skills and understanding that they need for their role. The re-launched Organ course is now available!

The RSCM also publishes The Complete Church Organist, a series of tutor books on playing hymns and worship songs, accompany anthems and anglican chant psalms, and playing voluntaries. Head to our webshop for more details.
